You know i just realized that

Fidddauthor(FordFord?) is the type of the If-only Tragedy. They could have been better of if only they'd stop working on the portals. If only Stanford listened to Fiddleford. If only he'd heed the warnings.If only Stanford published his papers instead. If only Fiddleford put his foot down earlier than in canon. But of course, they didn't, as we turn the pages of the story, we see the consequences of their decisions. One lost his mind, and the other lost the lifeline that could have saved them both. They were 2 people with shared interests and intelligence would have been the men who change the world if only.

Billford on the other hand, is the type of tragedy that you would know how it would end pretty early on. Like watching a train barreling towards your house, and there is nothing can change that. You watch this lonely, troubled genius himbo who's desperate for the respect and companionship in a world that looks down on him because of something he's born with( both his unnatural genius and his "freakish" extra finger"). He finds that companionship in the form of a eldritch dorito and dedicated himself to it, not knowing he tied his lifeline to chaos incarnate and left himself at the mercy of a merciless god. He turned his back on the world for a being that would make him jump of a building and drive nails into his hands. He pushed his friend, his family, his health away, until his own twin had accidentaly(figuratively and literally) pushed him away into the project that started it all.

They both equally make me feel so much things about the show and its respective canon materials

He clears his throat and swallows harshly. “Will you play your guitar for me?” “Yes,” Buck exhales, nodding his head rapidly as he straightens his body like he’s been called to attention. “Of course, yeah, I— Yeah, I can— Should I— Do you want—” Eddie isn’t quite sure whether bravery or stupidity drives him to say, “Grab your guitar and meet me in my bedroom.” (or Buck starts learning how to play guitar, and Eddie handles it as well as he can.)
